Wild Atlantic Way Cycle - 2025
This September, Fire-Ireland.com will be joining members of the National Retained Firefighters Assocation, FDNY, Dublin Fire Brigade, Cork Fire Brigade, Friends of Firefighters, Aoibheann's Pink Tie and the National Ambulance Service as we again cycle to Kinsale, County Cork from Newcastlewest in County Limerick.
We will again be raising money for Aoibheann's Pink Tie and the US team will be raising money for Friends of Firefighters in NYC. Fire-Ireland will be teaming up with members of Dublin Fire Brigade, Kildare Fire Service and Westmeath Fire Service to raise money for our team challange. Dublin City
Firefighters from Tara Street and Phisborough Fire Stations on scene of a fire inside a multistory car park at Jervis Street Shopping Centre on Wednesday 25th June. Four pumps along with a turntable ladder and emergency tender were sent to the scene.

County Roscommon
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the cause of a fatal house fire in Frenchpark, Wednesday 18th June. In a statement, Roscommon County Council said that fire units from Ballaghaderreen and Boyle Fire Stations responded to the scene of a fire in The Oaks housing estate on the Boyle Road in Frenchpark Wednesday evening, June 18th.
Units from both fire stations numbering over twenty personnel responded to the incident immediately after receiving an emergency call at 19.14 p.m.. The council said that the fire was brought under control but the blaze sadly claimed the life of one person. On Friday 20th June, emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision in County Roscommon. The collision occurred on the N60 between Roscommon Town and Ballymoe. Gardaí, fire service and ambulance service personnel attended the scene. The road, near the turn off for Ballintubber, remained open, but motorists were being urged to slow down and exercise caution as emergency services dealt with the incident. It is not yet know if anyone was injured in the collision. ~Roscommon Herald
County Cork
Three people were hospitalised following a four car collision on the N25 Midelton to Castlemartyr Road east Cork around 4pm on Monday afternoon 2nd June. ~Paul Byrne
County Dublin
Dublin Fire Crews from Tallaght fire station and fire crews from Irish Air Corps Fire & Rescue based at Baldonnell co-responded to a single vehicle RTC at the aerodrome on Tuesday 27th May. the Air Corps crew used their winch to amke the scene safe along with Tallaght firefighters. ~@DubFireBrigade X
