On Thursday 22nd June Greystones and Bray Fire Stations responded to an RTC on the Farrankelly Road in Greystones. Quick thinking firefighters quickly fitted a breathing apparatus rescue mask to the casualty as smoke started to fill the 4x4 whilst firefighters frantically worked to lift the wreckage away to free the occupant while also extinguishing the fire.

Abbeyleix Gardai along with Stradbally Fire Station and Firefighters from Carlow Fire & Rescue Service had to deal with a single vehicle Road Traffic Collision just after 4am on Sunday 18th June near Ballickmoyler, County Laois

Emergency Services seen responding to an incident on King Street Lower in Wexford, at the junction with South Main Street and Barrack Street in rush hour traffic just before 5.30 p.m. Monday evening 20th March. Fire Crews from Bray & Greystones attended the scene of a single vehicle RTC involving a double decker bus in the Windgates area of Wicklow Friday night 23rd December. There was a number of passangers on board at the time and all were uninjured, including the driver. Passengers were assisted exiting the bus by locals and quickly arriving firefighters. National Ambulance service also attended the scene.

Dublin Firefighters extricated a patient from a car after it was driven through the wall of a cemetery in Donabate overnight Sunday 30th October. The patient was kept stable by FF/Ps while the roof was removed and then they were transported to hospital by National Ambulance Service. This is the scene of a two vehicle RTC involving a lorry and a car on the M9 Motorway on Sunday 5th September between junctions 3 and 4 Northbound which led to the Motorway been closed for a time.

Waterford Fire Crews responded to a person's reported RTC Sunday morning 15th August shortly after 9.00 a.m. The collision happened on the N24 Waterford to Limerick road just after Mooncoin, County Kilkenny. Road was closed for a short time until full clean up had taken place. Fire Crews from Waterford City responded to an RTC (road traffic collision) Monday afternoon 2nd August near Mooncoin. Thankfully no serious injuries to report. The road was closed for a short time until a full clean up had taken place.
Diesel and oils spills present an extra hazard to motorists after the incident has taken place. Spills need to be dealt with immediately to prevent further spread.
