County Waterford 1st July 2014
Scene from County Waterford on Tuesday 1st July after an amusement ride stopped working trapping people mid air. Firefighters from Waterford Fire Service, HSE Ambulance Service & Gardai attended the scene. County Cork
Scene of a recent fire at a Wind turbine farm on the out skirts of Bantry town. The fire which started on the turbine spread to a nearby forest. Units of Cork County Fire Service from Bantry attended the incident.
County Cork 24th June 2014
On Tuesday 24th June a Boeing 737-300 air contractor flight from Belfast to Barcelona with 144 passengers and 6 crew had to make an Emergency Landing at Cork Airport due to a faulty instrument.
The airport's full emergency plan was put into place for the landing. Fire crews from Cork Airport, Cork City Fire Brigade, Cork County Fire Service along with HSE Ambulance Service and Gardaí attended the incident. The plane landed safely with no injuries to passengers County Clare 18th June 2014

Gas leak in a camper van claims the live of an eldery UK visitor. Her pet dog was rescued from the incident and rushed by an ISPCA dog warden to a local vet for treatment. Attending the incident where units of the fire service from Ennis,HSE Ambulance Service and Gardaí from Ennistymon.

Cork Citys Emergency Tender seen attending an incident in the docklands area of the city where a car went into the River Lee. Cork City Fire Brigade, HSE Ambulance Service, RNLI, Gardaí, Coast Guard, Navy Divers & Civil Defence attended the scene. The mans body was later recovered.

The Scene of a Hayshed well alight at 4-mile bridge near Lissarda in Co Cork on Thursday 10th April. Several units of the Cork County Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident. Heavy black comming from the fire which was blowing across the main Cork to Macroom Rd caused problems for drivers.

The dramatic scene from Limerick City on Saturday 1st March which captures the moment a Limerick City Swift Water Rescue Firefighter (FF Eli Brace) enters the River Shannon to save the life of a young woman. He kept the woman above water until a boat arrived. She was taken to hospital by a waiting Ambulance. Assisting in the Rescue effort were 3 Units of Limerick City Fire Station, HSE Ambulance Service, Gardaí & Irish Coastguard Helicopter "Rescue 115" who were training nearby and were mobilised to the incident. Their winchman can also be seen being lowered down in the photo. County Clare 12th February 2014

Scene of a major Fire at the Glanbia plant in Dungarvan, Co Waterford today the 24th of Janurary. It is understood that the fire started at around 05.00hrs in the roof area of the plant
and that the fire has now spread to a nearby building.
Eight units of the fire service from Waterford County Fire and Rescue Service are at present on scene are are battling to stop the Fire from spreading to the nearby Shaws Electrial Plant. County Cork January 2nd 2014
Cork Airport was the scene of a Multi Agency Response last night (Thursday 2nd January) after an Aircraft declared an Emergency following 2 failed attempts to land in strong winds
The Aircraft which had 50 people on board landed safely on its 3rd attempt and no injuries were reported. A number of flights where diverted to other Airports due to the conditions at Cork

Waterford City 4th September 2013
Scene of a gorse fire on Tuesday night 3rd September 2013 in Waterford City. Two units of the Fire Brigade tackled the blaze which broke in plantation in the Sallypark area of Waterford City.The fire started at about 8.30pm last night on a hill covered in gorse behind the golf course. Two extra crews of the fire brigade, one from Dunmore East and one from Tramore alongside the two from Waterford City tackled the blaze over night and it was extinguished at 4am. However due to the winds some of the smouldering gorse caught fire again, and the fire brigade is currently working out there. Nobody was injured as a result of the incident. Scene of a fire at Clerihan Chip Shop near Clonmel which started at around 4pm ony Sunday the 25th of August. An employee spoted a chip pan on fire and raised the alarm. A Delta Airlines Boeing 767, operating as flight DL75 from Milan Malpensa to Atlanta, Georgia with 220 people on board, was enroute over the Atlantic Ocean and 300 miles northwest of Shannon when the crew reported the failure of the right hand engine, they turned the aircraft around and diverted to Shannon. The aircraft landed safely on Shannon's runway 24. The crew requested emergency service to check for any smoke coming from the right hand engine. No smoke was reported, the aircraft subsequently taxied to the apron, where passengers disembarked normally.
