Belfast 20th February 2024
Police Service of Northern Ireland Police Officers received a report of a vehicle on its roof on the Monagh By-Pass at around 12.35pm on Tuesday 20th February. Officers attended the scene of the single vehicle collision alongside colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. Three people reported injuries which, at this stage, are not thought to be serious. ~Police West Belfast FB
Belfast 12th December 2023
This was the scene on Tuesday night 12th December on the West Circular Road in west Belfast where a car collided with a parked car; sending it up the lamppost. There were no serious injuries and the incident was soon cleared. ~KevinScott

County Antrim 10th January 2023
Fire Crews from Antrim and Ballymena attended a road traffic accident involving a lorry on the motorway near Antrim Area Hospital on Tuesday 10th January. Emergency service personal from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Police Antrim & Newtownabbey also attended. The crews used manual handling techniques and a ladder to remove the casualties to safety. Thursday morning 18th August at approximately 7.15am Belturbet fire crew was dispatched to assist their colleagues from Northern Ireland fire service Lisnaskea Station to a lorry v car RTC on the A509 Derrylin - Belturbet Road in County Fermanagh.

Fire crews from Dungiven & Limavady, supported by specialist crews from Crescent Link & Central Fire Stations responded to a vehicle in water incident New Years day morning on the outskirts of Dungiven. The vehicle driver was rescued by the first attending crews and a subsequent systemic river search was undertaken until the PSNI confirmed that all vehicle occupants had been accounted for. ~NIFRSWest FB

Fire crews from CN14 Bailieborough and CN15 Virginia seen in attendance with Gardaí at the scene of an overturned tanker at Carrickgorman on the R178 Bailieborough Virginia Road on Sunday 9th May.
To limit environmental damage arising out of milk getting into nearby watercourses, as milk can be very harmful to fish a dam was created to limit the flow from the tanker, while safely decanting as much of the milk as possible to prevent seepage into watercourses. ~Cavan Fire Service Belfast 2019

Second RTC of the day in Omagh District. Both required us to assist our colleagues in Northern Ireland Ambulance Service by using Rescue cutting equipment to rescue casualties. Our colleagues in PSNI Strabane ensured our crews' safety by closing the road and diverting traffic. Both incidents had significant injuries but had the potential to have been much worse.

Fire crews from Northland and Crescent Link Fire Stations responded to a report of a single car RTC on the Culmore Road in Belmont, Derry / Londonderry on Monday 20th January. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to release a man in his 50s from the vehicle. He was transported to hospital by ambulance.

Fire crews from Springfield and Central stations responded to a road traffic accident which involved 2 cars on Lanark Way in the Shankill area of Belfast. Firefighters released 2 men in their mid 40s while another 2 casualties were classed as ‘walking wounded’ and left the car before arrival of FRS. The casualties were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Belfast 27th September 2013
Four fire appliances attended the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on the Falls Road near to the Beechmount Avenue junction on Friday 27th September. Two taxis, a van and a car were involved with a total of five people being trapped and needing release by firefighters.
Ten people, seven males and three females, suffered a range of injuries, a number of these being classed as serious. The casualties were taken by ambulance to the Mater and Royal Victoria Hospitals. County Down 10th September 2013
The scene of an incident in which a lorry over turned at Derrybeg Cottages just off the Camlough Road close to the Egyptian Arch. It appears the lorry was attempting to place a skip on to the back of the lorry when it became unstable causing the lorry to flip over on it's side. The driver of the lorry had to be cut free from the cab by members of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

A 47-year-old man has died after a car crashed outside a charity shop in east Belfast. The incident, which left three people injured, happened about 12:00 BST on the Woodstock Road. It is understood a car came off the road and hit two pedestrians and a woman on a mobility scooter. The police said the man who died had been driving the car. The scene from Belfast on Monday 14/08/2011 where a double decker bus crashed into a wall ending up on its side near Central Train Station. 31 people required hospital treatment including a baby, children and a pregnant woman. The driver had to be cut free by Firefighters.
