Boston Fire Dept attended the scene of a Major 6 Alarm Fire at an Apartment Complex under construction on Wednesday evening 28th June. the $45million apartment complex in the Ashmont section of Dorchester was destroyed and Firefighters had to remain on scene well into Thursday afternoon

Germany 22nd March 2017

Last night (Tuesday 21st March) we were alerted to support the fire brigade in our neighborhood. In a storage shed with about 15 tons of coal briketts, it came to a smoldering fire for unexplained reasons. In order to reach the fire, almost the entire briquettes had to be dreamed by hand (mainly under self-contained respiratory protection).

A very strenuous and personal intensive activity, which required the use of several fire brigades. In support of the comrades from Birkenwerder, all three stations of the FFw Hohen Neuendorf with more than 30 forces were on the spot, the Oranienburg fire brigade with the full-time guard and comrades from Lehnitz as well. ~Chief René Smolarski FD Hohen Neuendorf
